Disclaimer: If you are not intelligent enough to understand any matter with different perspectives, don’t read this article because it will definitely hurt your ego, emotions, belief system & your so-called “pride” about India. Before you conclude anything from this article, you must understand my intentions for writing this article. So, if you cannot understand my intentions, don’t blame me for misinterpreting these words. Because I have just shown you the facts.
India is a country of hypocrisy (not in terms of its pride, but society).
Let me tell you from the scratch!
It is not their fault, but their innocence. Because of their best ideology & philosophy, they stuck to their culture. And knowing this fact, many outsiders invade and ruin their beautiful culture in many different ways.
As time changes, we must change ourselves, right?
But, you cannot change the addicted ones.
This fact was also known to some of the cruel invaders.
Therefore, they ruined the minds of the people of this country.
But how?
If I say something about it, foxes will be alert. Anyways, I'm the mirror and the reflection of the truth is my duty. As a writer, it is my primary duty to write the facts. And I will write it no matter what. Because, यतो धर्मस्ततो जयः.
"The manipulation & getting control over the mind of people has started from the moment of establishment of entertainment or media industries who promote entertainment".
I know you won't believe this statement, but you will need to understand the root reason or root cause of any action.
And before that, just look at the data:
- Crimes Against Women: 70-80% increase from 2010 to 2020.
- Cybercrimes: 500% increase from 2010 to 2020.
- Overall Crime Rate: Approximately 30-35% increase from 2010 to 2020.
So, as a human being, we are controlled by our senses and mind.
Desire (kāma) is the enemy for men, while jealousy (irṣyā) is the enemy for women.
For a man, KAMA (lust or desire) is the greatest enemy.
For a woman, MATSARYA (Irshya) is the greatest enemy.
Media industries have been adopting Western culture and lifestyle as their main content. In their content, they have mainly shown half-naked women, erotic scenes, domestic violence, and whatnot?
When you look at such things, especially when someone (who is well-known and a great influencer) is doing it, you will try to follow them.
For example, suppose I am a well-known actor and I wear flip-flops under denim trousers, you would definitely follow it. It will become a fashion.
Whereas if I am a normal citizen and do the same thing, you will call me crazy! That's the reality.
Therefore, media industries, by showing those things that can easily get control over your mind and become your addiction, have made you addicted to the thought process, lifestyle, decision-making, observation, etc. in such a way that all your decisions will be totally based on the information that you have been consuming from those content.
If you like some TV shows like Big-Boss, web series, today's movies, etc.
It is the live proof that your ideal lifestyle is decided based on the content you watch.
Your own decisions, thought processes, and opinions are becoming suppressed day after day. Your power of "being yourself" is decreasing day after day.
The only reason for this result is that you are the slave of your senses and minds.
If it is still not true, why are you afraid of ghosts when watching a horror movie?
If you are afraid of ghosts when watching a horror movie, that simply means that your mind can be greatly influenced by the content you experience by your senses.
Why, even though he had everything, Gautam Buddha renounced all of his kingdoms just to become enlightened?
We are from a country where our ancestors were not obsessed with making money because they knew that, "everything is temporary".
What is permanent, is only "consciousness".
To understand that consciousness, we were adopting different methods like Karma Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Gyan Yoga, etc.
But in the search for gold, you have lost the diamonds.
They all ruined their lives so that you could understand that the most important thing in life is "self-discovery" and not "satisfaction of the senses".
Maharshi Patanjali, Swami Vivekananda, Swami Sivananda, and the list will go on and on!
They were just explaining the purpose of life for your betterment.
But you just want to satisfy your senses.
If you look at history, beggars' houses have never been robbed. Only the houses of the rich are robbed.
Similarly, India had something that no other country in the whole world had.
And that was: "our culture and our lifestyle".
But today, the media industry has made everyone slaves of their minds.
If you tell any woman, "Don't wear short clothes", then, first of all, she will doubt your character. She will not think that with what intention this person has said such a thing?
And, I can write a whole book on this one thing only because "no one can ever understand anyone's intention in the whole universe", and if still you want to know his intention, you have to understand "real love", then only you can understand it.
Wearing short clothes makes a man horny. He cannot understand self-control. Because here he is shown only that. Wherever he looks, he sees only one thing "arousing scenes".
It is like saying that you are locked in a room and someone comes and leaves a foul smell. Now it is obvious that no matter what you do, the smell will still come. Because the senses will do their job.
That is why it is written in the Great Bhagavata Purana:
मात्रा स्वस्रा दुहित्रा वा नाविविक्तासनो भवेत् ।
बलवानिन्द्रियग्रामो विद्वांसमपि कर्षति ॥
(SB 9.19.17)
Meaning: One should not sit alone with one's mother, sister, or daughter, for the senses are so strong that even though one may be very learned, the senses can agitate the mind.
Just imagine that the great guide of humanity (Bhagavat Purana) says that even "sitting nearby a woman" can also become a cause for sin.
Then just imagine, you have been seeing only such content every day and every minute that can always delude your mind.
What will be the consequences?
Simple: Incidents like Kolkata Rape case, rapes of women, atrocity on women, and whatnot?
But what's the solution?
Eradication of the thought process from its root. Also, we must implement strict punishment for such cases. For example, in Garuda Purana, we can see that after death, the human soul is punished by frying in an oil-filled pan. When you live-telecast this punishment, trust me no one on earth will ever think of making such an attempt.
And if I talk about removing such a thought process from its roots, it is only developed when everyone takes an oath to follow restraint in life.
Because when someone gets addicted to something, then his downfall is certain. Now only his efforts can save him. If despite reading all this, you do not implement this article in your life then no one can save you.
Now my question is to you:
"Are you ready to not watch such content?",
"Are you ready to follow restraint in life and advise others for the same?"
If your answer is "No" or "Maybe", you have no right to ask for justice for our sisters or mothers of our nation.
Because you just want to be a hypocrite.
You just want to be a part of the sheep's crowd.
And if this writing has not wrenched your soul, you do not have the right to live your life fruitfully.
You are just a slave of your senses and minds.
You will definitely see the destruction of humanity & dharma (righteousness) with your open eyes.
You can only beg for justice.
You can only blame the government.
You can only become a hypocrite.
If the rape happened with your own mother/sister, you would have killed everyone (if you had power in your hands). You would have destroyed the whole nation for revenge. But you don’t want to change yourself from not seeing the content that manipulates your mind. You don’t want to change your thought process that makes you powerful which can save all the women of the whole world.
If you are angry, saddened, or broken from the inside, it is the right time to change yourself & save yourself. Because a thousand miles of journey begins with a single step. Follow the righteousness, follow the restraint in life, and become a human.
- That's all.
Jay Hind.
